Miss Suzy has to be described as adorable. It is by Miriam Young, and pictures by the one and only ARNOLD LOBEL.
We borrowed it last year from our friend Heather, the one who told us about it, and this year we were beyond lucky to find not one, but TWO copies in a book sale. I could not help but buying both.
At first, since Heather and I have now a copy, it crossed my mind to do something with it, but as much as the Ziefert book called me like a siren, this one told me NEVER. I have decided to sell it then as it is. And I have a new label, Books NEVER to deconstruct. (Deconstruct sounds so fancy, doesn't it? :)
Trust me, it is worth it, Melissa Willey's girl thinks the same.
